Paedophile Pakistani serial sex abusers sent to jail

On Friday, Mohammed Liaqat, 28, and Abid Saddique, 27, were jailed at Nottingham Crown Court after being found guilty at a trial in November of charges including rape. The judge in the case said the race of the victims and their abusers was "coincidental". So reports the BBC. And Jack Straw has come out of the politically correct closet to speak up about all this. This being the predatory paedophile abuse of gang cultured British Asians, predominately from a Pakistani Muslim background.

As with all matters relating to sex and race and culture it is difficult to know where to start. What I do know is that the powers-that-be tried to sweep it under the carpet, including Jack Straw. He redeemed himself in my eyes last night on Newsnight. But he knew even when he was Home Secretary that this was going on. He was a cabinet member until the election last year. He knew then, we now know he knows now.

Yorkshire police and other forces were in denial. Some said they would investigate but only on the hush hush. Only goes to show how infected with political stupidity (correctness is really the wrong word!) the modern police are. They cravenly said that the BNP would exploit it all. So for TEN YEARS the BNP exploited it as a conspiracy by the establishment. Even now the judge in the case is too blinkered to see that, in this particular case, the race of the victims and their abusers was anything but coincidental. They would never have dreamed of abusing Pakistani girls. The judge has a slate loose in this regard.

I've known and know people from a Muslim background. I know that the entire Islamic world is virtually similar to the entire Christian world or agnostic world or any other. Nearly all Muslims are pretty decent people, sometimes given to good deeds sometimes not. 99.9% would see such activity as being wrong. However, there is a truth that needs to be addressed. And it won't come from the politically stupid in their ivory towers.

A large number of Pakistanis living in Britain do have feelings of an anti-colonial type. It colours some of their thinking. Just as some servants rounded on their masters when the Upstairs Downstairs way of life collapsed as a result of the Second World War, so there is a residual resentment over imperialism. Britain is seen by some as a place for exploitation. Link this with modern day problems such as the radicalisation of Islamic youth, attitudes resulting from the War in Iraq and culural imperatives, such as marrying a pure bride from Pakistan, then it is perfectly possible to concoct a heady cocktail of feelings leading to such activity. The criminals now starting their jail time are no doubt highly resentful men. By not addressing the situation all sides have let the victims down.

Let us not have enquiries. Just let those who think their covering up helped come forward and admit they got it wrong. Don't all rush! The only people gloating are the BNP. They plan a demonstration in Oldham. Perhaps, instead of Giglamps Rentamouth and his UAF brigade as the sole opposition, we could get those responsible for the ten year enforced silence to arrive in Oldham and publicly say sorry. No sackcloth and ashes stuff. Just sorry will do. The victims deserve it.

Vulnerable minorities

I'm glad the Home Secretary has decided to abandon the more ridiculous elements of New Labour's vetting scheme. The quango set up to see if we are deviants of the first order will still be in place though. We live in a weird world. We have to be so careful not to offend but also be wary of being accused of neglect, abuse or just plain ingorance of the new ways.

I'm just getting my head around the concept of vulnerable lone workers. The idea now is that no female, juvenile or elderly person can be left on their own in charge of a workplace. Any visitor is deemed to be a potential threat. Woe betide any cold caller visiting when a single woman is left alone over lunchtime. He may be selling widgets but it's his own widget the authorities are minded about. So are we all seen as potential abusers? "You can't be too careful!" goes the mantra. But each time a real pervert is caught a police spokesman blithely comments that "this one fell under our radar!".

If we all think about it we are all in a minority of something. And I suppose we could all be vulnerable at one time or another. This is not about "being careful" but about the authorities wanting to be seen to be carefully covering their backs. Until they get to grips with the aberration of paedophila (the driver behind all this) nothing will change except the number of boxes we have to tick. If Big Brother (or Sister) is going to assist in any meaningful way it will be to identify peadophilia as a notifiable mental disease with the necessary curbs on the person's liberties. Just locking them up is useless. So is creating a wave of hysteria as the likes of the Express and Sun delight in.

The core problem must be tackled otherwise we will become a vulnerable majority.

A terrible manifestation

Further to the last posting I've found this bit on paedophilia. It seems that most in the medical profession see this as a mental disorder. However, they have no cure for it. Paedophiles are on a treadmill for life. If they get an urge to offend and they get caught they go to prison with no prospects of a cure as they already know there is none. What a life! Literally. Who would want to be a paedophile?

If a cure is not to be found then it must be the fate of a few men (and women, it seems) to live with a psychiatric pathology, knowing that your brain triggers impulses that the vast majority of the rest of humanity finds repellent. You are at the mercy of lynchings at worst and misplaced sympathy at best.

All I can think of currently is that there must be a better way of trying to find a cure. Because the very presence of paedophilia in our midst seems to bring out a desire in many just to "kill off" these predatory people.

What is paedophilia?
The World Health Organisation includes paedophilia in the list of sexual disturbances. It is a psychiatric pathology which is part of the so-called sexual deviations, meaning disorders which involve an attraction for something unusual, like inanimate objects, or in this case, children.

Treatments: an open discussion
Two treatments have been examined for curing paedophiles: the first is aimed at correcting the hormonal profile, commonly called "chemical castration", the second involves treating the psychiatric disorder.

The idea behind correcting the hormonal profile is to reduce testosterone (male hormone) or at least its effects with some drugs (primarily cyproterone). But to have a lasting effect the individual must be forced to take this substance for a long time and this may lead to irreversible physical injuries.

From a psychiatric viewpoint, paedophilia is manifested as an obsession and emotional disorder. The paedophile is an obsessive because he has the repeated idea of finding a child and using this child emotionally and sexually, an idea which he is unable to control. There are drugs which are capable of relieving this repetitive thought mechanism, but this type of treatment is not seen as a permanent solution. To treat the emotional disorder, often caused by childhood traumas, psychotherapy is used.

The debate over drug treatment to correct the hormonal profile and on psychiatric treatments continues and is very heated. To date it has not led to short term solutions.

The best way to fight paedophilia continues to be prevention.

New Labour fright regime carries on the vetting

New Labour is a preposterous outfit. All keen to vet everyone and anyone except their wretched selves. It is perfectly OK to have morally questionable ministers in the government, but woe betide a decent citizen wanting to help other peoples' children.

The Great Nosepoker Balls is so keen to vet every person in the land that he has come up with a new category of potential paedophilic monsters. These are the exchange student parents. "Don't worry Pierre! Daddy is very nice and has been completely checked over by Mr. Balls". What on earth is Pierre and all the other young students to make of it.

Balls keeps up the mantra of wanting to safeguard children. Instead he is like a carcrash heading towards a time when every parent will be devoid of any desire to pass on experience of their life for fear of being "labelled". It will be a society without love and compassion. Each will have been vetted, each will be recorded, to little or no avail. None of this actually stops paedophilia. It all runs on a one strike and you're out routine. Each time a paedophile is convicted, the police remark, "He was under the radar, you know!" as if to confirm what a ridiculous situation it all is.

Paeodophilia is a matter that needs addressing. New Labour is clueless on the subject. One day I suppose a scientist will explain whether it is a mental condition, a pyscho-sexual condition or just something that prison will fix. At the moment the latter appears the favoured option, although I think a few in authority think otherwise. Their fears lie in the fact that if paedophilia was unravelled, then other sexual proclivities could also be. Now that would be something.

No man wants to be a primary school teacher it seems. I certainly wouldn't if I were younger. It's bad enough in Sunday School. The vetting issue creeps over us like a frightful character from George Orwell's 1984. In fact, Ed Balls and his parrot chatting wife would make a good 1984 couple.

Balls better open a few more lunatic asylums. By the time the vetting of the whole country is over we will all be nervous wrecks.
