Sarah Palin and Princess Diana are cousins!

The Daily Mail has dug up this information. According to genealogists, John McCain’s White House race running mate is a 10th cousin of Princes Harry and William’s late mother Princess Diana.

Who do we think we are? I'm going to look up my 10th cousins (when I know who they are!) and see who they are. What a surprise!

Mr. Fayed's female fixer

I think Mohammed Fayed recruits the types that Alan Sugar would reject. There's a plummy-voiced woman called Katharine Witty in Fayed's employ, who's sole claim to fame is appealing to us, the good people of Britain, to indulge his, and her, fantasies. She has the brass neck to complain about Gerald Howarth, a Conservative MP who suggested yesterday, in the House of Commons, that Mr.Fayed was a "thief, a crook and liar". Howarth suggested he be deported as an undesirable alien.

Ms.Witty (is she witty?) said it was "cowardly" to "abuse parliamentary privilege" by insulting an individual. Excuse me? Insulting an individual? Is she barking? Mr.Fayed has spent the last ten years using the courts to suggest that the Duke of Edinburgh arranged to have Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed murdered. The whole idea is preposterous, but then Ms.Witty is into such stuff. I think it's time Mr.Fayed went back to posh retailing and kept away from the fantasies and the fictions of life.

When this so-called inquest into the death of Diana, Princess of Wales is over it will all be totted in up in time and cost. It is a complete waste of time. It is costing a fortune. The only people to gain from this are the snout-nosed journalists who see rich pickings in the stories emanating from it and the likes of Mr. Fayed of Harrods fame and that Paul Burrell, both of whom have agendas, books, and egos to promote.

How come Mr.Fayed can peddle such accusations? Is it only because he is using the court system? Burrell is a liar of the first order. He's been filmed admitting that himself!

I'm all for free speech, but this is ridiculous. The three party leaders at Westminster keep their members on a tight leash so that they don't go off message, but these pantomime walk-ons can spout the most horrendous stuff, oblivious of who they hurt or defame.

Lord Justice Scott Baker is absolutely right. It is "blindingly obvious" that Paul Burrell's evidence was clearly "not the whole truth". When I was at school, there was an expression given to people like Burrell. Creep! He's not fooled me and he's not fooled loads of others. He's presenting himself in America as some kind of archetypal English butler. English cad would be more appropriate!

I wish this whole thing would end soon!
