Keeping the Daniel Hannan message alive!

I know this is on other blogs but I'm just doing my bit to keep the Daniel Hannan message up and running. I do hope Gordon Brown's getting it that he's a busted flush. We can't have every new born baby getting a feed, a rattle and a devastating mortgage all at once!

Fox News now Ron Paul's biggest fan?

It seems that Ron Paul is pundit number one when it comes to Fox News. Pity they were so down on him during the election. Anyway now they appear to be bending over backwards to give air time.

Here is Ron Paul saying he thinks Barack Obama is right in telling us that things may get worse, but he thinks Obama may be missing a few points. If you want to hear a politician speaking it as it is, here's Ron Paul. If you want a different tack, take up with Gordon Brown and the fairies in Number 10!

Foxy lady succumbs to Ron Paul!

During the Republican primaries Fox News seemed to be hell-bent on keeping Ron Paul off the news bulletins. Occasionally they would have him on, suggesting to him that he was whistling in the dark or talkiing to himself!

Elizabeth MacDonald gamely admits that "sometimes a journalist just needs to yield the platform for once, for God’s sakes, to someone who is trying to bring some common sense to the debate. Yes, Dr. Paul has been criticized and ridiculed. By those who live in an echo chamber and don’t give anyone except those who agree with themselves a fair hearing. It’s time to listen to all points of view, because we are living through one of the rare times when the landscape of this economy could be permanently changed."

She goes on to quote Ron Paul at length. Although not saying so in so many words, I think Elizabeth MacDonald is at least one in the Fox compound who is showing signs of succumbing to Ron Paul's view of the credit crunch.

Murdoch says "I shape the agenda!"

Rupert Murdoch is a man who doesn't often fail in getting his own way. An Australian masquerading as an American, with a penchant for having a bash at Brits he despises "You British can be such...." and so on. He may be OK with his friends, but the rest of us have to make do with him manipulating his own media so that he can, in his own words, SHAPE THE AGENDA. He's shaped it big time with Fox News. He freely admits he followed the Bush policy detail. Even though he acknowledges that some are against the War in Iraq, I bet it doesn't bother him that much.

This little video shows he's still keen on manipulation. Shaping the agenda, indeed!!
