Chris Evans could be relied upon to turn up late - or even fail to show up at all - in his 90s heyday, but many thought he had turned a corner when he took over from Terry Wogan on Radio 2. Alas not. Evans turned up almost half an hour late to his Radio 5 Live broadcast of the US Masters on Saturday night. 'I apologise profusely,' he panted into the microphone. 'I ran in from where I was.
